Abstract These Regulations, made under provisions of Sections 9 (1), 11 (5), 90( 2) of the Fishing Act and Section 6 (1)(1) of the Exclusive Economic Zone Act (1993), concern fishing in the sea in compliance with European Union Legislation; and establish rules concerning: fishing in inland water bodies, border water bodies, water protected areas, internal and territorial seas and the exclusive economic zone. The Regulations define: fish minimum size; hook; lure and bait; winding fishing line; standing trap. The Regulations describe: permitted fishing gears; various types of permitted fishing trap; underwater fishing gear, including harpoon and harpoon gun; snap traps, including shore net and open water net; various types of fish traps.
