Abstract These Regulations implement in relation to Wales the provisions relating to the method of calculation and collection of charges for the carrying out of official controls on products of animal origin intended for human consumption under Regulation (EC) 853/2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council. Charges shall be collected by relevant food authorities as defined by these Regulations and the Food Safety Act 1990. “Animal products” here means fish directly or indirectly landed in Wales.
