Abstract

This Ordinance sets the fishery limits of St. Helena at 200 miles from the baseline from which the breadth of the territorial waters adjacent to the Island of St. Helena. It also makes provision for access by foreign fishing boats to those waters and the regulation of licensing of fishing boats by the Governor in Council, and defines the general powers of sea fishery officers.
