Abstract

The Regulations apply to maritime areas as defined by the Maritime Areas Act, 1983. The text consists of 30 sections which are divided into 8 Parts, i.e.: Preliminary (I); Fisheries Advisory Committee (II); Foreign Fishing Licences (III); Local Fishing Licences (IV); Fish Processing Establishment Licences (V); Fishery Conservation Measures (VI); Fish Aggregating Devices (VII); Miscellaneous Provisions (VIII). Part VI prescribes measures for lobster, turtle, conch, coral and aquarium fish.
