The 38 sections of the Act prescribe rules, inter alia, relating to: Restriction on the Import and Export of fish (sect. 4); Restriction of Fishing (sect. 6); Sale of Fish (sect. 8); Protection of Fish and the Environment (sect. 9); Oyster Farming (sect. 10); authorized Fishing Implements (sect. 11); Close Periods (sect. 16); Fishing in Reserved Areas (sect. 19); Prohibition of Underwater Fishing (sect. 22); Registration of Fishing Boats (sect. 25); The Fisheries Advisory Board (sects. 35-37).
