Abstract

These Regulations amend the Fish Labelling (Wales) Regulations 2003: (a) in regulation 4(2) by providing that commercial designations accepted in other Member States are names prescribed by law; (b) by replacing the Schedule to the principal Regulations with the Schedule to these Regulations. The Schedule provides a list of commercial designations for the species of sea fish, salmon and freshwater fish and shellfish listed therein. The new Schedule includes a number of insertions and amendments.
