Abstract The present Law lays down provisions relating to land expropriation in the Canton of Schwyz. Article 4 establishes that expropriation is, inter alia, admissible for: the rebuilding and enlargement of new streets; the remaking of river banks and brooks; for the building of new churches; the exploitation of material used for building of streets; the erection of new water conducts and fountains.
