Abstract

These Regulations give effect to European Communities legislation on the grading of pig carcases. They prescribe offences of not, as a slaughterhouse operator, classifying, marking, recording pig carcases or applying an identification system in accordance with provisions of Commission Regulation (EC) No. 1249/2008. They also concern appointment of authorized officers and functions and powers of such officers.
