Abstract

These Regulations deal with the movement of certain pet animals within the European Union and from certain third countries, i.e. Sweden, Malta or a country mentioned in Part B or Part C of Annex II of Regulation No. 998/2003 of the European Parliament and of the Council. The Regulations set out requirements and conditions for the importation of pets (as defined by the Community Regulation) and provide with respect to control and enforcement.
