These shall be certified as specified by these Regulations. Some provisions also concern propagating material or a fruit plant that contains a genetically modified organism. The Regulations require a person engaging in an activity under the Council Directive 2008/90/EC to register with the Minister. The Minister may attach conditions to a registration. Other provisions of these Regulations concern, among other things, variety identification, labelling, notices regarding remedial action and offences.
