These Regulations enter into force on 1 April 1999.
Abstract

These Regulations concern the control of noise pollution at construction sites in Singapore. The levels of noise emitted from construction sites shall not exceed the maximum permissible noise levels. The Regulations include 2 Schedules that list the maximum permissible noise levels for construction sites. The Director may require owners of construction sites to set up equipment to measure and record the level of noise emitted by them. Penal provisions are contained in regulation 5.
