Abstract

These Regulations are made pursuant to section 140 of the Environmental Management Act [Chapter 20:27] to amend the Environmental Management (Control of Alluvial Mining) Regulations, 2014 (principal Regulations). They substitute section 3 of the principal Regulations relating to restriction of alluvial mining. In subsection (1) of section 5 of the principal Regulations, paragraph (f) is substituted and new paragraphs (m) and (n) are added after paragraph (l).
