Act and Regulations are administrated by the Environmental Assessment Administrator. The Environmental Assessment Branch (EA Branch) promotes good project planning and sustainable development through the coordination and administration of environmental assessment in Nova Scotia. Table 1 lists developments required to undergo an environmental assessment. These developments are called undertakings and are divided into two classes, Class 1 and Class 2.
