Abstract

These Regulations amend the Eggs (Marketing Standards) Regulations 1995 by providing for the enforcement and execution of Commission Regulation (EC) No. 505/98 amending Regulation (EEC) No. 1274/91 introducing detailed rules for implementing Council Regulation (EEC) No. 1907/90 on certain marketing standards for eggs. Regulation (EC) No. 505/98 is concerned with record keeping requirements and supervision in the case of eggs marketed with an indication of the type of farming used.
