Abstract

This Order gives effect to Commission Decision No. 2001/234/EC of 22 March 2001 concerning certain protection measures with regard to Foot and Mouth Disease in Ireland. It applies to animals of the bovine, ovine, caprine or porcine species or other biungulate. Article 3 places restrictions on export of animals from State the County Louth or movement of animals through the County Louth to other areas of the State.
