Abstract This Decree of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, which is composed of 26 articles and four Annexes, lays down requirements for the production and marketing of: (a) fermentation vinegars (art. 3 and 4); (b) spices (art. 5, 6 and 7); (c) mustard and other flavoring preparations (art. 8, 9 and 10); (d) tea, tea extracts and their preparations (art. 11 and 12); (e) coffee, coffee substitutes and products made from them (art. 13 and 14); (f) table salt (art. 15, 16, 17 and 18); (g) dehydrated meals and soup preparations (art. 19, 20 and 21). These requirements include specification of raw materials used for the production, quality and labelling requirements for individual types of these products. Annex 1 specifies physical and chemical requirements for spices, Annex 2 for mustard, and Annex 4 for coffee and coffee substitutes. Annex 3 contains the list of plants and their parts intended for the production of tea.
