Abstract This Decree approves the Regulation for the Hygiene and Sanitary Controls for Aquatic Food Products. The Regulation, consisting of 5 Chapters, specifies the requirements to be satisfied by the above mentioned food products in order to put them on the market. The Regulation is divided as follows: General provisions, definitions relating to aquatic food products and objective of the Regulation (Chap. I); Official Controls and Competent authority (Chap.
