This Decree enters into force on the day of its publication.
Abstract

This Decree, consisting of 11 articles, creates the Mining Geology Institute. It establishes composition, duties and responsibilities of the above mentioned institution, entitled to: a) develop and conduct research and geological research, b) promote and carry out research, development and technology transfer, as well as publish and disseminate related results; c) develop and disseminate mining processing technologies, with particular emphasis on the small-scale and artisanal mining activity and develop actions to mitigate the negative impacts of this activity, etc.
