Abstract

This Decree applies to owners of fishing vessels which have obtained cod trawling licences in the sense of the Decree relative granting of permission to fish with trawling gear of 1986. Unit (joint) quotas for trawling fleets are designed to contribute and adjust quota resources and operation range of single vessels. Yearly quotas for fishing for cod, haddock and coalfish may be divided into unit quotas in accordance with article 3. Article 4 concerns cooperation between ship owners, whereas articles 5 and 6 establish which ship owners are eligible for the allocation of unit quotas. (10 articles)
