Abstract The Supreme Soviet decrees to put into effect the Law on veterinary medicine from the date of its official publication. The Veterinary Statute of the USSR is invalidated on the territory of the Russian Federation from the date of putting into effect of the Law on veterinary medicine. The Government must conform its legislative acts to this Law and provide for the revision and the invalidation by the Ministries, Federal Committees and Departments of the legislative acts that contradict this Law.
