This Decree enters into force on 1 January 2005.
Abstract

This Decree aims at controlling changes in ownership of establishments that hold a licence in accordance with Act No. 68 of 1985 for purposes of reaching the national objectives in the sea-based industries. The Decree prescribes changes that require approval by the Directorate of Fisheries, introduces a duty of notification and places restrictions on ownership: nobody may own more than fifty percent of the total concession volume in a given Fisheries Directorate region.
