Abstract This Decree implementing European Council Regulation 2468/98, establishes the temporary termination of fishing activities due to the international crisis involving the Adriatic basin. Premiums should be granted in favour of shipowners and crew because of the voluntary stop of the fishing activities from 14 May 1999 to 13 June 1999. A special unit crisis, chaired by the Ministry of Agriculture, is established in order to coordinate the activities of the Ministries.
