Abstract This Decree-Law establishes the phytosanitary system by regulating the diffusion in the national territory (including protected areas), of organisms harmful for vegetable production. Particular attention is devoted to the requirements necessary for issuing phytosanitary passport and certificates. Amended annexes provide lists and classifications of: harmful organisms, prohibited vegetables and vegetable products, inspection requirements and protected areas.
