Abstract This Decree-Law, composed of 27 articles and 1 Annex, introduces into the National legal system the EU Commission Regulation No. 1019/2002 on marketing standards for olive oil. It establishes specific standards for retail-stage marketing of particular olive oils and olive-pomace oils. In particular, marketing standards concern production and processing, forbidden practices, analysis methods, additives, contaminants, market preparation and labelling.
