Abstract

This Decree-Law regulates the use and trade of genetically modified organisms. It consists of 5 chapters establishing the requirements to be met in order to produce, use and place on the market the aforementioned organisms with a view to protect the human health and the environment. This Decree-Law applies for any biologic organism (molecular or non-molecular) with re-production capacity.
