Abstract The Catalogue of Wastes consists of: (a) the list of groups, subgroups, types and subsets of wastes, listed in Annex 1; (b) criteria for the assessment of hazardous characteristics of wastes specified in Annex 2. Wastes are divided into the following categories: (a) hazardous wastes marked with the capital letter H; (b) other wastes marked with the capital letter O. Waste types are identified by a six-digit number, where the first two-digit number indicates the group, the second two-digit number indicates the subgroup of the respective group, and the third two-digit number indicates the type of waste for the respective group and subgroup.
