Abstract This Decision, as in accordance with the provisions of the Law on spatial planning, sets the terms for development of the Spatial Plan of the Kornati National Park (proclaimed in 1980). The development of the Plan is also approached due to: harmonization with laws and regulations adopted on the basis of law; the need to revalue the space and visitor infrastructure system; new knowledge regarding the protection and harmonization with the functions of the Park on the basis of the prepared Management Plan and other documents according to special laws; improvement of the system of conservation and management of the protected area; inclusion of cultural heritage and natural and cultural landscapes for tourist and visitor purposes; improvement of the transport system and communal infrastructure; the need to consider and revalue the zones of traditional settlements and/or buildings in the function of active protection of the basic natural values of the Park; the need to consider the system of visitor infrastructure in relation to the zone of the memorial area; encouraging ecological and sustainable traditional agricultural production; establishment of a quality fire protection system, etc. Full text Croatian Website sredisnjikatalogrh.gov.hr References - Legislation Implements Law on spatial planning.
