The maximum quantities of polydecene authorized for use as a glazing agent are 3 g/kg on sweets and chewing gums and 5 g/kg on raisins. In labelling a foodstuff containing polydecene, the use of polydecene shall be indicated in the list of ingredients by applying to it the group name ‘glazing agents’ and the name ‘polydecene’.
