Abstract The present Decision enforces the Federal Waterworks Ordinance of 2 November 1994; the Cantonal Building Law of 12 June 1994; and the Cantonal Waterworks Law of 31 May 2001. In particular, the Decision lays down provisions relating to the creation of a planning area to ensure water spaces. Article 1 establishes that with a view to flood protection, water spaces, overloaded corridors and keep free zones must be kept clear for future natural hazard control projects.
