Abstract

This Order authorizes the issue of commercial salmon fishing licences by Regional Fisheries Boards and prescribes the criteria under which those licences may be issued. The Order also specifies the maximum numbers of commercial licences which may be issued by Regional Boards. The Order applies to the area as defined in article 3 and shall apply in respect of all fishing licences for any kind of fishing engine for the taking of salmon, except for fishing licences in respect of a rod and line. The Order also indicates the priority of the granting of licences, i.e. establishes an order of priority among applicants.
