On the one hand, article 3 is deleted; on the other hand, articles 3a and 3b are added. According to these new provisions, Member States shall monitor nitrate levels in vegetables containing significant levels, in particular green leafy vegetables, and communicate the results to the Commission each year. Section 1 of Annex I to Regulation (EC) No. 466/2001 is replaced by the table laid down in the Annex to this Regulation.
