Entry into force notes
This Regulation shall enter into force on the twentieth day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union and shall apply from 15 December 2022.
Abstract

This Regulation amends the Annex to Regulation (EC) No 333/2007 regarding sampling and analysis to be used for the control of the levels of trace elements and processing contaminants in foodstuffs. To this end, this Regulation lays down specific provisions for sampling of lots of fish containing whole fish of comparable size or weight or different size and/or weight, as well as, sampling of meat and offal of porcine, bovine, ovine, caprine and equine animals, poultry meat, and meat and offal of farmed game animals and wild terrestrial animals.
