Abstract

The introduction into as well as the movement within the Community of seeds of tomato contaminated by Pepino mosaic virus is prohibited by this Decision. Seeds of tomato originating in third countries may not be imported unless they fulfill the requirements specified under point 1 of the Annex attached. They shall be subjected to inspection and test in accordance with article 13(1) (i) of Directive 2000/29/EC. Point 2 of the Annex sets out the conditions under which seeds of tomato originating in the Community may be moved within the Community.
