The Circular sets forth the procedures of controlling livestock movements, registering livestock animals, animal farms and slaughterhouses. The Circular regulates issues, such as outbreak of diseases, vaccination, veterinary services, hygiene and disinfection, quarantine, transportation of specific types of animals and animal products, tracing of live animals and animal products. The Circular states that the Directorate General and provincial directorates of the Ministry of Food Agriculture and Livestock are responsible for control over animals in pastures, meadows, summer pastures, winter pastures and villages and also over nomadic pastoralism.
