Section 4 prohibits hunting in reserved forests. Sections 6 and 7 make provision for licences and special licences to hunt, possess, sell, buy, etc. wild animals and their products. Section 8 makes provision with respect to close seasons in which specified animals shall be protected. Section 10 specifies unlawful hunting methods, whereas section 11 places restrictions on the importation and exportation of game. Remaining provisions of this Act deal with offences, legal procedures, and measures of enforcement of the law and, in relation to this, powers of forest officers, game wardens, and police officers.
