Abstract

These By-laws made by the Boerasirie Commissioners appointed under the Boerasirie Creek Act, provide for the duty of Commissioners to keep the canal constructed by the Commissioners and related works in good order, funds to keep the canal in order, the prohibition of impeding the passage through the canal, opening of sluices, polluting of Boerasirie creek or canal, straying of cattle on the banks of the canal, navigation and sluices.
