The requirements and conditions of making available on the market and use of a biocidal product and a treated article are established in Regulation (EU) No 528/2012 of the European Parliament and of the Council concerning the making available on the market and use of biocidal products. This Act applies to making available on the market and use of a biocidal product and a treated article in events not regulated by the Biocidal Products Regulation. Among others, the Act regulates labeling of biocidal products, granting authorization to biocidal products; related state fees; state supervision and liability for violating the Act.
