Abstract The present Ordinance lays down provisions concerning the protection of animals at the time of slaughter or killing. At the outset the text contains a definition clause relating to terms therein employed such as, for example, “slaughterhouse”, “accommodating”, “immobilize”, “anesthetize”, “killling”.
