Abstract

These Regulations implement the national Bovine Tuberculosis Eradication Programme reflect relevant provisions of EU legislation, in particular, Council Directive 64/432/EEC. They concerns, among other things: testing of bovines for bovine tuberculosis; tracing of suspect or infected bovines; animal passports; slaughter of bovines; prevention of spread of bovine tuberculosis and general rules for inspection and movement of animals.
