It, among other things: places restrictions on the importation of plant, pathogens, insects, exotic animals, growth mediums, infectious things, honey, beeswax or used apiary equipment and anything determined by the Minister by Notice in the Gazette; requires presence of plants pests to be notified; empowers the Minister to prescribe control measures which shall be complied with or carried out by a user of land; empowers an executive officer to order any user of land to observe or carry out the provisions of a particular control measure on or with respect to any determined quarantine.
