Abstract The present Act applies to to the administration of the European Union's regulations under the Common Agricultural Policy. This includes: 1. Schemes fully or partially financed by the European Agricultural Guarantee Fund (EAGF) and the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD); 2. The Common Market Organization for agricultural products; 3. Schemes for agricultural products covered by Annex I of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union that are not subject to a market organization; 4. Trade arrangements for certain goods made from agricultural commodities. The Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Fisheries and the Ministry of Rural Districts may, within their respective areas, lay down rules and take the decisions necessary for the application of the European Union's regulations on matters covered by this Act.
