Abstract This Act, which is composed of 13 articles, lays down some amendments and addenda to the Mining Wastes Act. In particular, the present Act amends provisions concerning management of mining waste. The holder of mining waste is obliged to reduce the negative impact of mining waste on the environment, human life and health and to prevent or reduce as far as possible any adverse effects on the environment and human health resulting from the management of extractive waste, even after the closure of the facility of mining waste disposal, taking into account the best available techniques.
