Abstract

The Act partly makes amendments regarding allocation of fishing quota between coastal fisheries and ocean-fishing. TAC (total allowable catch) for shrimp-fishing in West Greenland is distributed between 43% for coastal-fishing and 57% for sea-fishing. The government may issue regulations on access to fishing for certain species implementing conditions for these activities. New production plant must be approved by the Cabinet.
