Article 2 lists the particular tasks of this Administration, such as regulation, maintenance and expansion of water bodies; monitoring of the state of waters and participation in measures against water pollution; administration of public water resources and land related to waterways. Article 3 concerns principles relating to water maintenance. Part 2 lays down provisions relating to the establishment of the Danube Austrian Waterways Company with limited liability. The text consists of 33 articles divided into 3 Parts as follows: General provisions (1); Organization of the Federal Waterways Administration (2); Transitional and final provisions (3).
