Entry into force notes

The present Ordinance enters into force on 1 January 2007.

Résumé

The present Ordinance implements the Bavarian Waste Management Law in its version of 9 August 1996. In particular, the Ordinance encloses the Waste Management Plan for Bavaria. Article 1 of the Plan establishes that its aim is to promote a closed substance cycle waste management so that an environmentally compatible waste disposal is ensured. The Waste Management Plan applies to the territory of the Free State of Bavaria. It is a technical Plan for municipal and commercial waste, including waste requiring special monitoring. Five Annexes are enclosed: Thermic treatment facilities for domestic waste and similar waste (1); Landfill of entities responsible for disposal (2); Landfill of entitites responsible for disposal (3);Waste disposal facilities for special waste (4); Authorized waste disposal (5).
