Entry into force notes
The present Law has entered into force on 23 April 1949.
Résumé

The purpose of the present Law is to ensure the protection of plants against harmful organisms including weed. The text deals with the following issues: general provisions, definition of terms; duties of persons entitled to dispose of land, buildings and means of transports; application of certain plant protection measures; interdiction of cultivating harmful organisms; guidelines for combating harmful organisms; costs; experts of the Commission of the European Union; penalties; competent authorities and European Community Law. The text consists of 21 articles.
