It makes provision for precautions against spread of infection of bovine animals. The Order provides for, among other things: reporting by keepers of animals and veterinary surgeons to a Divisional Veterinary Officer; examination of an animal by the Department of Agriculture; specific restrictions on a herd keeper; cleansing and disinfection; seizure and slaughter of animals; separation of bovine animals from non-bovine animals; and control of non-bovine animals.
