Résumé

The Free Hanseatic Town of Hamburg and the Land of Schleswig-Holstein form one agricultural area destined to the production and marketing of agricultural products; as a matter of fact many farmers cultivate areas in both regions. Furthermore, both of them are being considered as one single region by the Council Regulation (EC) No. 1782/2003 establishing common rules for direct support schemes under the common agricultural policy and establishing certain support schemes for farmers to be financially supported. Article 1 and article 2 establish respectively the competent authorities responsible for the allocation of subsidies. The text consists of 12 articles divided into 2 Parts as follows: Transfer of competences (I); General provisions (II).
