Résumé These Regulations implement Directive 2011/92/EU on the assessment of the effects of certain public and private projects on the environment; activities related to proposed offshore oil and gas exploration and production, gas unloading and storage, and storage of carbon dioxide (“offshore projects”). The Instrument makes provision for the Secretary of State’s consideration of the environmental impacts of proposed offshore projects when deciding whether to agree to the grant of consent for such projects.
