I p. 337). In particular, it adds a number 8 dealing with importation of plants coming from third countries to article 1, paragraph 1; as well as a paragraph 2 to article 1 establishing that whenever a reference is made to the EU Directive 2000/29/EG of 8 May 2000 the annexes of the version in force have to be applied. It rewords article 4 dealing with importation of plants and plant products; as well as paragraph 5 of article 6 whereby, once it is ascertained that there is no danger of importing harmful organism, the competent authority does not proceed to inspect the certificate. Furthermore, article 7a laying down regulations concerning the importation of plant protections products into Germany is added. This article establishes that whoever imports plant protection products into Germany has to provide appropriate information to the customs authorities. Article 2 of the present Ordinance introduces some amendments to the Plant Protection Products Ordinance in its consolidated version of 9 March 2005 (BGBl. I p. 734). In particular, paragraph 6 of article 1a is reworded establishing that the examination of the related application for authorization as far as the chemical preparation is concerned shall be carried out according with Annex IV of the present Ordinance and, as to contents of micro-organisms in plant protection products, according to EU directive of 14 March 2005.
